Volunteering: Ways to Help
|
|
|
Welcome, SDTC members! The San Diego Track Club is your club!
The activities of the San Diego Track Club are possible because of the volunteering of club members. Club-member volunteers put on races, organize track workouts, organize summer running groups, establish and maintain web sites, conduct marathon-training and half-marathon-training
programs, and support each other in running and racing activities in the
county.
Need some ideas about how you can get involved? Here are some ideas – ranging from smaller one-time jobs (volunteering at a water station) … to mentoring a new runner … to serving on the SDTC Board of Directors or being a Race Director.
Rockin’ 'n' Runnin marathon training program members, you are members of
the SDTC for a full year - how about helping with a SDTC race once your marathon training is over?
