i'll be out of town the first two signUps this year and wish that the club leaders had publicized these signUp dates earlier in the yr. since the program will probably sell out before the third signUp day, looks like i'm SOL. no worries, i'll join another group. it was fun training with you.
i read joe's comments earlier about the program not really interested in returning rocking runners. i hope that is not true, but it is your program so you can do what you want.
for someone like me who has volunteered at sdtc events in the summer and fall, i think i deserve a chance to sign up before the other returning rocking runners who HAVE NOT volunteered.
leaders of the program, this is a suggestion: someone like me who has volunteered at your sdtc races, i get to sign up at either of the first two rocking signUp days. a returning rocking runner who has NOT volunteered goes onto a "wait list" and is added into the program only if newbies and returning volunteer-rockers have not filled up the program completely.
AND PLEASE publish your signUp days earlier next year. some of us have business trips/trade shows scheduled more than 6 months in advance.
